Studio Olivieri - Financial and Actuarial Consultancy: who we are

The owner of the “Studio Olivieri - Financial and Actuarial Consultancy” (from now on the Firm) is Prof. Gennaro Olivieri, that has undertaken for many years research activity, university teaching as well as insurance and actuarial consultancy activities at an international as well as national level.

The firm is made up of a team of professionals (actuaries, economists, engineers and researchers) on a fixed term and a vast number of professionals, external consultants with experience in insurance, banking, financial and accounting fields. The firm has also an additional resource dedicated to secretarial activities.

The consolidated experience of Prof. Olivieri, as well as the professional and interdisciplinary characteristics of the work group allow the Firm to offer innovative services, with high quality standards tailored to the specific needs of the Client.

Prof. Gennaro Olivieri, is a Professor of Financial Mathematics, Informatics Tutor, Director of the Research Center on Financial Markets (CERMEF) and a member of the Department of Business Economic Sciences within the Trade and Economics Faculty of LUISS (Libera Università Internazionale di Studi Sociali - Free International University of Social Studies) “Guido Carli”.
He is an Actuary, Professional Accountant and Official Auditor. He is also Actuary Auditor of numerous Insurance Companies as well as Appointed Car and Life Insurance Actuary of a prime Italian Insurance Company.
He is a member of the Italian Institute of Actuaries and representative of the same within the Insurance Regulation Committee of the International Actuarial Association; as well as of the International Actuarial Association he is a member of the ASTIN Association (non life insurance section) and of AFIR (actuarial management of financial risk); member of the Italian Association for Operative Research (Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca Operativa, AIRO) and member of the Italian Mathematics Union (Unione Matematica Italiana, UMI).
He is part of the Solvency II Pillar I Non Life Working Group of the Groupe Consultatif Actuariel Européen and appointed to give actuarial opinions within the non life sector in reference to the resource requirements of non life Insurance Companies.
He has been and still is Director of many researches undertaken on behalf of the “La Sapienza“ University of Rome of the LUISS University "Guido Carli" of the Ministry of Education, of the Ministry of University and Scientific Research as well as of the National Council of Research on applied mathematics, financial, mathematics, informatics and actuarial-mathematics that have led to numerous publications within national and international journals.
He has taken part and still takes part as speaker within numerous seminars, conventions and work tables in Italy as well as abroad on various themes related to the insurance, financial and welfare markets.
The firm is based in Rome, in Via Po 43, and operates at a national and international level.
